“Camp Connell and the area where this cabin is was just what I was looking for. It was quiet and peaceful and definitely felt so comfortable because I was staying among the trees. The hosts were amazing. They handled everything seamlessly. Definitely a 5 star experience! ”

“Great location near Arnold and Calavaras Big Trees. The cabin was set up well, the beds were very comfortable and showers worked great. Both the kitchen, bathrooms were clean upon arrival. However, I felt overall the cabin needs a very deep cleaning. I didn’t notice any smells, but there were so many items in the cabin that needed dusting. There was a thick layer of dust on top of the microwave under various items. I dropped an egg on the kitchen floor, the paper towel I used to clean……

“The owner was very responsive. Always love a code to access a house. There are a ton of stairs (as clearly stated) to get up to the top. The main room is nice and light with a terrific view. The kitchen had everything we wanted (electric griddle for pancakes), coffee machine, toaster, microwave, tea kettle for hot cocoa. There were tons of cups, plates and cutlery. We were so surprised that the old wall heaters heated up the house so easily, plus the wood fireplace, which was so nice to sit……

“Upon arrival I was flabbergasted by the difference of seeing the rental in person compared to online....and not in a good way. Listing on here nade it seem whimsical, in person it was anything but. Pictures seemed to be older, but better. ”
