“This placed worked perfectly for a 1-day ski trip. So close to Devil's Head. We were able to ski all day, and then enjoy some dinner, tv and games. Very clean, and cozy. Note there only a small refrigerator and small oven, which did not work for our Aldi's take-n-bake pizzas. Would stay again.”

“Jake’s place was perfect for our stay, as it was a relaxing, clean and a nice home. The two floor layout worked especially well for our infant daughter so she had a quiet place to sleep, while we could cook and hang out in the living room. The only suggestion to the host is to install curtains along the picturesque sliding doors for a bit of extra privacy at nighttime.”

“I grew up in an old farmhouse and this reminded me so much of that time. Wood floors with rugs and vhs tapes! The trails were fun to walk along and see the Fox river and have kids run out some energy. Then settle in for a night of games in the basement. Quite a unique stay and glad we found it for a relaxing new year stay while skiing at Cascade.”

“The property was wonderfully located with a beautiful view. It was also exceptionally clean and very well renovated. There were a few nice local restaurants/bars which made the stay even nicer. The only item was when I was told that we parked in the wrong place I responded and indicated the home was wonderful. I never heard back - just kind of seemed weird. I like having a personable connection with the owner but didn't necesarily feel that way here. But still a wonderful stay!”

“We stayed over Christmas break, the property and View was amazing. Location was perfect and Michelle was pretty fast at responding anytime I messaged her. Some things I would consider were minor issues, all the vents and fans were pretty dusty, ice machine and fridge water didn’t work,internet didn’t work well at all, the hill to get to the property was hard at times when it snowed or rain super muddy. The beds were listed as queen size, I believe they are full size. With that being said the……

“I was able to take a nice buck on state land. So successful trip for sure and once again your house was awesome to stay in. One thing that was a bummer for myself and my cousin was the beds. They’re a bit too soft for our backs. We did Goldie locks them all but we just have very pre-Madonna backs. If there is a way to upgrade that would be awesome, if not no big deal we will suck it up. Still can’t wait to come back next year!”

“The neighborhood felt fairly safe but arrived after dark & house was a little challenging to get into. Motion light might be helpful or easier access to inside by guests (updated door keypad). Looks like abandoned home across street. Owner very responsive. Reasonable cost and clean and fairly comfortable. Outside noises woke us a couple times in night on Saturday. Car alarm & sirens.”

“Had a wonderful first trip to Madison for the entire week of Thanksgiving. The house was absolutely perfect. Clean, cute, warm, perfect location to everything downtown. Also had better quality amenities than a lot of rentals; nice towels, comfortable beds and bedding and great furniture, fully stocked kitchen utensils and things. Felt perfectly at home. ”
