“As Michigan travellers, we have stayed in many hotels and motels. This was the best in a long time (very clean and loved the bed). It was a last minute trip for New Year's Eve and I was able to book a room in the evening that was immediately available for us settle into with 24-hour check-in. The remote keyless entry was wonderful, along with the included amenity room, which had extra towels, cups, plates, condiments, coffee/tea, pet supplies, and indoor/outdoor games. The staff's all-around……

“We LOVE the Alpine. It's in a quiet location and the staff are wonderful! The rooms are always spotlessly clean. The Alpine is no-frills, but that makes it nice. Just a quaint, quiet place to relax in a spacious, clean room. The staff are friendly and courteous and We've stayed there twice now, and both stays were excellent. Much better than in one of the "brand name" hotels.”

“Nice place”

“Our first entry into our room was not the best. It smelled strongly of pot. We told the desk clerk and she was aware and told us they had a little trouble from the couple who had stayed the night before. She immediately moved us to another room, which was also an upgrade. My only question was why they put us in that original room to begin with. They had numerous room openings. The room we were moved to was fine and we were appreciative for the upgrade in rooms.”

“Contacted the property ahead of arriving because of a confusing email I received. They were able to confirm our reservation and checked us in over the phone, which allowed us to continue our sightseeing and not have to worry about it. The bathroom was small but the water was hot. One downside is that since it's on a main road there was lots of traffic noise in the morning. ”
