“We were shocked when we arrived at this property. The word "rustic" should be added to its description. The front door to the property is a sliding glass does that does not from the outside. When we walked through the house upon arriving, we walked through spiderwebs on the inside of the house, the smell of mildew was overwhelming, most of the windows had been screwed closed with no way to open them, there were rodent traps in every room, the mini splits (AC units) worked extremely well, the……

“This is the 4th time I've stayed at an Inn Season resort in Falmouth. There are 3 properties available and they are all quite nice. This visit was at Captains Quarters overlooking Heights Beach. It was a winter weekend with a steady fall of very fine snow. The accommodations are always spot on. It was picturesque and a perfect weekend getaway to relax and unwind. ”

“This apartment was a great location to walk to the shops and restaurants in Oak Bluffs. We typically don't rent 1 bed/1 bath properties but we would rent this one again. It was very large and very clean and comfortable. The morning sun, coming in from over the ocean was beautiful each morning and we could sit out on the balcony with our coffee and people watch. “This house is like a museum! It’s beautiful inside and out. The home wasn’t as private or secluded as I’d hoped. The owner lets the neighbors park their boat at the dock so they roll up on you while you’re sunbathing, looking in the window at you while you’re in bed and roam back and forth through the yard at all hours of the night. This was the only flaw for me and it’s a big one when you pay almost a 1000 a night to have privacy and peace. ”

“Loved the location. Great spot. Hard to find at night, make sure you don’t use Waze as you’ll get misdirected. Kitchen is well appointed but there aren’t any leftover food supplies like coffee or sugar, so make sure you grab your own. You may need to bring an extra towel or two. But there were two towels for us. Overall, great spot. I’d love to come here in summer!”

Also we think the entry lock battery is low as it kept going out on us mid code. We wrote the Vacasa people and they wanted us to buy new batteries. NO.
