“This was a cute place in a neat old building. Unfortunately it was a little too lively for us. I'm sure it didn't help that our room was directly above the bar area. There was a white noise machine in the room, which was much appreciated and helped some with the noise. There was no sink in the bathroom. We had to come out to wash our hands at the sink in the kitchenette area. If we had to stay again, I would call the hotel directly to be sure we got a different room, further from the bar and……

“We usually travel to Ouray after Christmas each year, first time staying at St Elmo hotel, we absolutely loved it!! It’s a beautiful antique/vintage style hotel, lots of history! The housekeeper was super friendly & the rooms very clean. They have free breakfast each morning with eggs, homemade grits, pancakes, the works!!! It was so good, served fresh by their amazing cook!! We will definitely stay here next Christmas!! ”

“This was the first time I have stayed at this property, and would do so again! Suzanne was there to greet my wife and I and showed us around, introducing us to the mixologist behind the bar, as well as the chef. Everyone working there was very nice and accommodating. The spa in the lower level was beautifully relaxing, and in the morning, the cold plunge was exhilarating! The dinner was the absolute best food I have ever consumed in Ouray!!! “A unique property for us. A small local motel in town was very convenient to get around. Our room was upstairs above the Thai restaurant and once they closed for the evening it was quiet. The parking was a bit of a pain. You can't park next to the building. It isn't clear where on the road you can park overnight. The roof top restaurant was not open this time of year which was good for us. I can imagine you would hear it when it is open. The outside stairs up to the room would be difficult for……

“My daughter and I stayed here for a weekend of skiing at silverton. We absolutely loved our room! It was such a well appointed space. The bathroom was top notch. It really helped that there was a restaurant below the hotel as we got to eat there. Nick is awesome and we felt super safe. ”

“Great room and it all worked well. It was a bit unusual not to have a personal check in, but they had a good solution for it. The joint bathroom was good, although it felt like there were many rooms to that one bathroom. The stairs up was a challenge with suitcases and a poor back. The room itself was lovely and beautifully arranged. Loved it!”
