Mixup with booking, got smoking room, instead of non-smoking room I always request. Staff said no smoking rooms not available, but this was after 30 minutes back and forth with a supervisor on phone calls. Then they said a maid would clean out smoking smell. Went up to room and it smelled terrible, overpowering cigarrette smell. Could not stay there without coughing. Asked for refund. After one hour of calls between hapless desk manager and supervisor, requesting simple refund, supervisor told me on phone he would not refund, despite the stinky room I was given, and unwillingness to give me a different room. I even said I was willing to pay for upgrade . For my own lung health, I had no choice but to walk out, cheated by a bad place, with no customer service skills.
