“We had a lovely time at the Arched Chalet for my family's annual vacation in Vermont. It was very comfortable, well-appointed, and in a great location. Even in the summer heat we did not need the AC - it was so comfortable with the fans and the lower level is naturally cool. Great location near Camp Plymouth (we went to the lake twice), and restaurants/shops in Ludlow and Woodstock.”

“The house was located right next to Sachem trail, making it a true ski in/ski out and super convenient especially with the ample garage storage for skiis and roomy mudroom for putting on boots. The house was very roomy for our large group and had nice touches like a shuffleboard table, two large kitchen tables, a lovely central fireplace. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Okemo. One thing to note is that others may be staying in the house in the attached apartments so depending on……

“Relaxing VT stay . You are in a rural setting but places to stock up on supplies was less then 10 miniutes away . We watched the fireworks that stratton displayed pretty much from the comfort of the property .Our children are young adults and they had a blast finding local swimholes . As well as spending a day at Bromley Mountain ( 20 mins away ) where they did water slides , alpine slides , the giant swing to name a few . House is large and the ability to accomodate large families or groups .……

“As a yearly VRBO renter I am accustom to renting a few houses and this one had some disappointing takes and some great attributes. First the houses layout and location is great for a large get together and the views are amazing! But apon arriving you could first tell the slate entry way and door knob was in need of repair. “Our biggest issue is that the listing says 3 bedrooms, 1 with a queen, 1 with twin bunks, and 1 with a queen and 2 twins. But it’s actually a full with 2 twins—a bouncy, mushy full. The twins in that room are paper thin mattresses on boards and they felt a bit like 2x4’s, so I’d only recommend them for kids, even though they were roomy twins. This presented a major issue in our vacation. We surprised my older parents by inviting them for part of it and were happy to give them the queen. This……
