“False advertising. There is no breakfast, not even coffee and according to managers, they havent had since Covid. No coffee maker in the room either. I chose this hotel because of this feature to save money on a very costly trip with a large family. Very disappointed! I have to say that the manager is very kind and when we needed anything, he was quick to respond. ”

“It was a good stay for the weekend except there was a water issue on that saturday. We returned from melting in the hot smoldering sun and came back to no water in the entire cabin area. it was later resolved ”

“We've stayed here before and really liked it. The comfort of the house, the beautiful lake setting and the proximity to our plans for the weekend made it ideal. We are returning once again this fall and we hope more times in the future. ”

“Our stay was around when Helene Hurricane came through, Sept 27, 2024. The power was out so the cleaning person wasn't able to finish their task prior to our check in. However, there were clean linens and towels in the basement next to the washing machine. We also had trash bags, clean dishes and running water but no power. The cabin was nicely located in Seneca which wasn't far from the university. The cabin was also easy to find. ”

“Our family stayed at Anchors Down and we had a great, relaxing time. Property has a private feel and we enjoyed the screened porch. The house was clean, beds were comfortable. Good host communication. ”
