“We were looking for a place for our son to relax on family day before BCT graduation. This cabin exceeded our expectations. We went in December and the cabin was decorated for Christmas and also had lights up outside. Made for a nice cozy homey feel for our family. If we ever go back to Fort Sill we will definitely book this again. 100% would recommend. The views are breathtaking! ”

“This property is a little piece of paradise! It is set back, off the beaten path, in the woods. You can hear the creek from the cabin; it is the most peaceful and relaxing way to unwind. The paths to go on to explore allow you to see so much wildlife. And then, there is the cabin itself. It is so quaint and has such character. The craftsmanship and details are amazing. You will never want to leave, but when you do, you will be relaxed, recharged, and refreshed!”

“This was our second stay. We love the quietness of the property and of course the horse and donkeys. Perfect spot for a weekend or midweek getaway. It is also a great base for traveling to local attractions like The wildlife refuge and Medicine Park. Just make sure you bring extra carrots. ”

“We had an amazing stay. The house was very clean, quiet, and a perfect place to relax after visiting my son at boot camp. It was easy to find, and the entry codes were simple to use, which made our experience even better. Also there was a locked gate that adds more security. The scenery is just beautiful depending on what way you come you might see the lake. The neighbors little horse may greet you and same with their donkey. My 2 yr old just had a blast with them. What truly stood out,……

“This is a great home. We stayed for Thanksgiving to visit our son at Fort Sill. The home was very comfortable, well appointed for Thanksgiving, and well described by the owner. Having the horses next door was a huge bonus! We’ll be back. ”

“Hosts were great, very flexible, and responsive to any issues we had. Place was nice and cozy, laundry and full kitchen were perfect for the extended stay. Neighborhood is mostly safe, there are some unsheltered/transient individuals that hang outside the house next door, although they never gave us any trouble.”

“We attended our son’s graduation from Fort Sill. Makenzee answered every question we had almost immediately. The home was spacious with comfortable couches to relax and watch tv. The yard is nice with a patio with a patio firepit we enjoyed. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked witt dishes. My son enjoyed the workout room. I highly recommend this host and home.”

“This property was very clean and very nicely decorated. The owners have done an excellent job updating this little home and turned it into a very enjoyable property. The owners were very gracious and helpful. We even asked to use some lawn tools to do some grooming of the burial plots for our family and graciously offered them to us. Would definitely stay at this property again if visiting this area again.”

“Obviously this establishment is under new ownership. The guys were trying hard. My room was on the outside on a cold night and the heater did not work. Old and outdated but clean. Tried to discount for inconvenience but had already checked me out. Good breakfast. Hopefully new owners can make improvements.”
