Firstly every morning at 830 I got disturbed by a guy who keeps knocking on my door. If I ignored him he will keep knocking. If I respond he will move on to my next door and keep knocking others door. I think this is super rude.
I cannot peep through the door hole as the door hole was installed at the height of nearly 6ft 3 ! The door hole was apparently wrongly installed by the contractor from the beginning. It happens to every room and I have observed. This is ridiculous.
I have changed room for this 3 nights stay for the reason that the shower tube was broken. There are holes that I need to press while I shower so that water won’t leak out. I think this is ridiculous to have happened in a 4 stars Hotel. The water pressure is low like raining lightly. If I change the shower head to jet - the water cover area gets smaller. No heater in shower room!
I changed room due to the above reasons. However the shower tube in another room is again broken!!!! I cannot be bothered to change room again to have to pack my stuffs all over again.
The room light is forever dark. I cannot work on my computer except on the bed which is so inconvenient to me.
The shower door is installed only half. Despite the low water pressure the floor will get all wet after shower this is super annoying !!!! And should not have happened in renaissance hotel for the price I have paid.
The tv not expecting greetings but - it always shows welcome to Samsung Hotel. I think this is ridiculous.

the club lounge was great, the service was great, there's a big supermarket close to the hotel, close to Amsterdam Centraal which is very convenient, breakfast was lovely, Wi-Fi is super fast. However, we think the bed is way too soft.

The hotel is in the middle of a remodel. There are many things that need to be fixed and paid attention to. I spoke to the front desk and they were appreciative of my feedback and according to the manager, those areas will be addressed. I found the staff to be wonderful.

This hotel is having a large refurbishment reception is in basement. Room access is poor. There is no natural light, even in our room which looked out on the work taking place. Emergency exits were not clearly marked due to the work in hand. There was no sign of a staircase should the lifts fail. Really disappointing especially as it was premium price.

Under construction at the time we were there which was a little inconvenient but the staff were wonderful, especially the concierge staff - made all the difference in our stay. Located within 10 mins of Amsterdam Centraal station. It is easy to take the tram to Museum square and other locations, but there is also a lot to see in the local area.

The property was under construction and did not let me know when I made the reservation. My family was woke up every morning at 7am to the sounds of hammers and electric saws.

Bad Experience
The check-in process took 1.5hrs as the room was not ready, despite my arrival after the announced "earliest check-in time".
The reception blamed it on being understaffed.
Room ACs were not working.
