This HI Express exceeded my expectations with only one exception: the desk clerk was brand new on the job and hadn't learned various procedures. I had prepaid for the room (as required by Expedia and the hotel chain), but this clerk tried to charge me for the room. In the process, he deleted the information about the existing payment, and it took almost half an hour on the phone for his more experienced colleague to make the necessary phone calls to get everything sorted out. In the meantime, I was left standing in the lobby. Eventually, I got my key card and access to the room, and everything worked out OK.
