“A great destination on a cold winter nite. Staff was awesome. Chatted with us freely in public areas. Friendly. Facility was clean. Bed was very firm! Loved my rest. Did not try out pool area, but looked very inviting. Breakfast was available and fresh. Will definitely visit again.”

“This place is special. As described, it is beautifully situated on a private lake deep in the countryside of Michigan’s upper peninsula, while offering every comfort of home. We took full advantage of the fire pit, lake view, and the trails. Our host was very responsive when we had questions. The ONLY reason I have it 4 stars in “cleanliness”is due to flies, which is to be expected in a wooded setting.”

“This remote destination does not disappoint. Property manager is on point and attentive. If you need anything or have questions you’re in good hands. Great atmosphere for those that want to detach completely. 10/10 ”

“Extended family gathers each year for Thanksgiving celebration with crafts, wreath making, puzzles, outdoor activities and good food. Your lodge had plenty of space to set up and leave up all the activities we had planned. A real Thanksgiving snow added to the excitement and the deer feeding outside the windows was enjoyed by everyone. Thank you for helping us along the way. ”

“Everything was great! Clean and simple!”

“We loved the house and the property so much. The house has plenty of space for our family. The kitchen is large and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the vintage furnishings, they give character. I think this is the only rental I’ve ever been to with nice frying pans. The surrounding property is beautiful and we really enjoyed birding every morning. There was lots of room for the kids to run around and no worrying about cars since it’s at the end of the road.”
