“Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read. “Another comfortable stay here in the George Best room. The room was ell equipped and quality tea/ coffee biscuits. Just a couple of very minor issues (shower control handle loose and no tissues in the dispenser) Lovely Staffordshire oatcakes for breakfast.”

“A sole cyclist, good check in. Secure parking for my bike. An upgrade on a room. Good facilities, lots of hot water. Clean fluffy towels, comfortable bed. Smart TV, tea coffee, bathroom soap etc. quiet night. Full breakfast, juice, coffee toast, croissant, jam butter and a fried English. Very good. Would return, the building is old, a bit run down, but lots of character.”

“Great place to use as a base and to sleep while exploring or in our case visting alton towers. Rooms were comfy and clean but could do with a lick of paint. Baths are very slippey and should include a bath mat. Staff are friendly, restaurant downstairs is. Wry good for breakfast dinner and drinks. ”

“Their service is great an warm. The receptionists gave us wise advices during snowstorm while showing care of us. The location is so convenience which allows us to drive there safely. We will definietly stay in this hotel in our next visit”

“Excellent hotel impeccably clean. Nice and quiet. Good fitness suite. Amazing staff on reception who went out of their way to help all the guests. Restaurant staff at dinner were less enthusiastic about their work and service could have been better. There is a little market with confectionary, a few travel essential like toiletries wouldn’t go amiss here. One of the best places Ive stayed recently ”
