"This is simply an amazing hotel. We stayed for four days with our kids (10 and 6) and had an incredible time. Our garden suite was bigger than most apartments i have lived in and extremely comfortable, clean and quiet. Breakfast was great, the bar was fantastic for snacks and casual dinner. Beach was beautiful. Local restaurants and ice cream shops were great for kids and reasonably priced. But most of all the service was incredible - extermely attentive but in a relaxed calm way. Special thanks to Renato in the bar who treated my family like royalty. All in all we had a great time and we highly recommend Epic Sana."

Agree with others that it isn't a modern 5 star, probably more like a good 4 star but it was very clean and had everytbing you need. Bed was comfy, plenty of wardrobe space and good size balcony over looking the beach. Staff very helpful. Breakfast tasty and plenty choice. Would come back"

"Our 2nd time staying at the Hotel Faro, and our stay was just as good! Location is great, and the service and staff are top notch - so friendly and professional. The rooftop bar and restaurant is amazing, and the breakfast buffet is probably one of the best buffets I’ve had. Highly recommend the Hotel Faro for a first class stay."

"Beautiful hotel right in the centre of old town Faro. The room (Superior Aqua) was excellent with an incredibly comfortable queen size bed, lovely decor, a comfortable sofa and a well laid out bathroom with the large tub, rain shower and separate wc. It was the little details which made this a 5* star experience. Plenty of water available daily (still & sparkling) plus soft drinks, robes and slippers available and cleaned to an incredibly high standard. My only suggestion for improvement was the chairs on the balcony which looked lovely but were rather uncomfortable. The balcony was an excellent spot for watching the 2 storks nesting on the crane. Breakfast was excellent, service and plenty of options to choose from. We ate twice in the restaurant and food was delicious. We also visited the pool and ate lunch on the 4th floor which was also excellent with great service. Was a pleasure to stay there. Thanks to all the staff at 3HB."
