Nice and clean, super comfortable, stocked with the basics we needed to enjoy ourselves. Neighborhood (cookie cutter) was quiet and friendly. All one floor, and a garage included if you need it. Nice screened-in porch that overlooks a pretty backyard. We didn't bring our pups but dog friendly, and we didn't see or smell anything that hinted at previous dog stays at all. Smart TVs in every room, open floor plan, good water pressure, kitchen stocked pretty well. If I were to nitpick, there were no little travel shampoos or soaps for either bathrooms. We had to go buy that. But whatever. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
All that being said, we needed a comfortable and safe place to care for our son's recovery from ACL surgery (he plays soccer at USCA), which this place delivered as advertised, but then we were hit with tropical storm Helene that decimated Aiken and took things to another level. We lost power only for one day while the rest of the town went without for days and days, mostly because the yard and street did not have old huge trees at all and the power lines are buried, an underappreciated value when looking for a vrbo. Property manager Kendra repeatedly made sure we were okay until our kiddo was good to be on his own again and we flew back home to RI. I'll never forget our experience here, particularly how we literally weathered a storm here in this nice, clean, and SAFE home-away-from-home. We are forever grateful.
