“May wife and I spent four nights at this property. Our criteria for selecting it were dark skies (for stargazing) and proximity to Yosemite National Park. It takes a while to get to the park entrance from the property, but it's a scenic drive! The Pioneer Market in town (9 miles from the property) was a great source for groceries. “We stayed here for one weekend for my son’s 20th birthday. Hot tub was great after a hike in Yosemite. It’s a drive to Yosemite…but a pretty one! Plenty of cooking tools, smart TVs, and the boys loved the pool table. Hard a hard time figuring out the Nest A/C, but it worked! Went to the store in Oakhurst on our way in. Look out for turkeys, squirrels, and many, many beautiful birds. It’s a good spot if you have younger kids too. Our kids are all between 17-21.On a clear night, you can see all……

The hot tub was perfect and secluded. Such a peaceful location and being able to do our laundry was amazing as well. “Our family really enjoyed the stay here even though it is between the towns. It is conveniently located for the west and south gates of Yosemite and the two nearby towns. we loved Idle Hours, and the Hideout Saloon (great food at both). We had all the space and amenities we needed to feel like home. Everything we needed in the kitchen. Lots of games, movies and activities. Great local details book, and my son most enjoyed the ping pong table out front. Would definitely stay again if we are in……

We stayed for 3 nights explored Yosemite and surrounding area, if you want a perfect location with amazing host’s I can’t recommend this place highly enough, it takes approx 1.30hrs to get into the park, but the drive is easy and scenery is amazing…The cottage is exactly as described and so far our favourite location whilst touring around the area.If we ever come back to visit the area, we will definitely be back…1st rate 👌”
