“When we arrived, the check-in process was communicated to us and was so easy to follow. The host actually came and met us shortly after we checked in and he made us feel right "at home". The home was perfect for us, as we had family coming from several locations, and there was enough parking for our families 5 vehicles. The bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, dining room and common areas were well decorated and comfortable, giving us plenty of space to sleep, eat and relax. The outside grilling……

“My family and I have stayed at all three of the Sanctuary lake houses, and are always impressed with the attention to detail and all the amenities. The new Blackwater Lake place is really amazing. The dining room table is huge with a great view of the lake. The living room had plenty of seating for everyone, which was great for gathering and playing games. The game room and home theater was a life saver when it was raining - the kids loved the laser tag. Having exclusive use of the pontoon……

“We loved the old house and all the period furnishings. Mostly we loved that it could fit all of us in one place. A short walk to the nice little beach was great. A short drive to Walker or to Brainerd to explore. We had a wonderful time being together, sitting around a campfire, grilling, and playing in the yard.”

“The house is a bit smaller than the pictures made it look .still a big place we had a large group . If your taking a large group bring a big frying pan the pans are small and u will need to bring paper towels & garbage bags.the kitchen has plenty of dishes. The house is nicely decorated. They had fun going fishing in the boat but caught fish from the dock as well was kinda theres a bit of weeds for swimming although the small grand kids enjoyed the sandy beach.also wadeing in the water it rained……
