“We loved our stay here and the location was perfect to view the lake and access all of the outdoor activities we could ask for! Patti was so accommodating letting us take our dog with us and even left us a bowl of puppy treats! All the little touches when we first walked in created such a great impression, cookies on a platter for us, some wine to ring in the new year, lit candles, handwritten notes, stocked firewood, and all of the winter and holiday decor to make us feel special. “This was out first time at this amazing property. Scenic views of the lake from the comfortable couches on the deck. There was a lot to do, kayaks and paddle boat supplied. You can easily walk into the lake and swim to the float. The house itself was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable as was the couch. Everything was very clean with modern appliances and decor was very inviting. We will definitely be returning to this haven on the lake!”

“We were so happy to return to the chalet for a short getaway. It’s just as nice in the winter as in the summer. It was cold and snowy outside but warm and cozy indoors. We enjoy the quiet and how well organized the chalet is. Don’t miss the star gazing (or the full moon) here - simply amazing! On this trip we saw the moon and four planets. On the last trip we watched meteor showers. We had a lovely time and look forward to returning. ”

With short commutes to both Whiteface and Lake Placid, I am sure the next time we hit the Adirondacks this will be the place for us!”

“Clean and well-stocked with a sauna (it took us a long time to get the fire going as it had been raining and the wood was wet but it was a fun experience).”

It is absolutely adorable, well-decorated, comfortable, smelled good, and there are a ton of amenities such as a well-stocked pantry, kitchen, and laundry/bathrooms. We enjoyed our time and loved the space. Our advice would be to make sure you have all-wheel drive because during winter it may be hard to get out of the roundabout driveway! :)”
