A couple criticisms- The kitchen cookware was poorly maintained, had hit spots and rounded bottoms- difficult to cook with. Cast iron pans would be a great addition! The fridge needs an ice maker. Knives were very dull- all of them. The compactor and light switches should be labeled for easier use. Living room was rearranged by our group……

“This propeety was everything we expected and more. A large kitchen stocked with everything a cook would want. A farmer's porch to sit on and have your coffee while watching the lobster boats go in and out of the bay. The home is located on a sparsely populated peninsula perfect for de-stressing. Lots of hiking, waterfront exploring, wildlife and of course fresh seafood!”

“We had such a lovely time at this place. It’s right on the water with a beautiful back deck and fire pit that overlook the ocean. The house itself was perfect for our family gathering. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathrooms were well-stocked with everything we needed. My only qualm is that we had stayed here because it was close to Bar Harbor - the listing said it was a 50min drive but was more like an hour 10min and there wasn’t much else to do in Milbridge. “This home was perfect for our first outing to Acadia. We enjoy being away from the crowds and exploring on our own and this was the perfect setting. We explored the Schoodic side first and later launched kayaks directly from the property to explore the surroundings by water. We ate at local restaurants and also had a well equipped kitchen for those nights we stayed in. We took our bikes over to Acadia by ferry avoiding the traffic and getting a bonus tour guide from the ferry owners as we……

“This property is perfect for a family getaway with pets. The owner was very responsive to all our questions. The property had a lot to offer: Beautiful views. Large bedrooms. Access to the beach below. Lots of land with privacy. Close to a small town. We took their advice and got lobsters from Captain Matt's. They were delicious! There is one thing that could be improved: the beds could be more comfortable. Adding mattress toppers might help. We would definitely come back! ”
