“We were looking for a quiet getaway and found it! The house is updated, immaculate and fully appointed. It is well laid out with very comfortable furniture. There is a deck with a forest and a pond in the backyard, and a short walk through the forest to a creek. Very peaceful, with things to do in the area.”

“Escaped Long Island’s noise, traffic and overall stress . Listened to owls, watched birds soaring, kicked up leaves and gazed at the periwinkle colored mountains while perched on a bench. Felt safe enough knowing civilization was near enough, would have liked a landline phone just in case of an emergency ”

“Lovely in every way except loft area around bed. Didn’t realize I couldn’t stand upright. Was difficult to get around. Carpet could be replaced on loft. No idea it had such challenging steps to the bed. Cottage had a musty smell when first entered. ”

“This house couldn’t be closer to town - literally steps from our favorite restaurant. Perfect for our family of three (plus our dog) but would also work well for two couples (with a loft area that could sleep a kid or two on the couch or an air mattress). Great communication with our host who was super responsive and accommodating. All the amenities we needed and the hot tub was a great bonus. We’d stay again in a heartbeat! ”

Rudy communicated a few days ahead of time about an issue with the fridge and provided coolers and ice for us to use.
