“Lovely location with good countryside views. We found the waiting staff and one night male receptionist were not very welcoming with a smile 🙁 Daytime female receptionist was jolly and chatty and helpful 😀. The bed maker made the quilt cover too short and didn’t reach our shoulders. Following morning we pulled the excess quilt cover out of the bottom of the bed and had a better warm night sleep. Very good breakfast. ”

“My best friend and I got to experience what relatively few Americans will ever experience - sleeping in a real castle! What an experience! The grounds were beautiful, overlooking a flowing river and a gorgeous wooded area. The walk to the quaint town of Peebles was fabulous. Indeed, I can think of NOTHING of this one night experience for us that was amiss. We had the whole castle to ourselves. The accommodations were more than comfortable. “A warm welcoming atmosphere awaited where we found generous touches with bread, milk, butter, jams and eggs in the pantry. The compact kitchen was amazing and I will have one just like it when I get REALLY old!!!!
