“We stayed for two nights/one day at the Phoenician with our 4 and 6 yo kids. The reason my overall rating is not excellent is because the splash pad, waterslide and whirlpools were all broken the day we were there. The splash pads and whirlpools did get going midafternoon, but the waterslide remained out of order. The games room was available and we played some foosball, pool and air hockey, but two of the 4 arcade games were out of order. When travelling with two young kids....what else are you……

“Service at the hotel is really great! Unfortunately, the facility itself is desperately in need of updating. They downplay the condition by positioning it as a classic Mediterranean resort, one of a timeless age. Also, the layout of the villa is "choppy," making it a bit challenging for customers to navigate their way around. Lastly, the resort is directly on East Camelback Rd., making entry/exit difficult via car and virtually impossible on foot (no sidewalks!).”
