“Five stars all the way from the staff, our room, and spa treatments. We didn’t dine in the restaurant but did have a drink at the bar. We would absolutely stay at the Rhinebeck location again as it is superior to their Skaneatles hotel which is tired and in need of a refresh.”

“We have stayed at the Herwood inn before and love coming back here from year to year. The apartment was cozy, with unique boho decor and personal touches to make your stay feel like home. Its only a short walk a way from the main street, which is an added plus. They also had a outdoor hot tub which we really enjoyed. I would highly recommend booking for your next visit whether its family trip or a couples getaway. ”

“The tub and the bed were very nice and comfortable. The room was interesting and definitely had a good curated vibe as a carriage house with nice wide plank wood floors, interesting shaped room vaulted ceiling and vintage tiling in bath, etc. However there were not enough outlets, and the outlets that were there were not easy to plug into and one sparked. Room would greatly benefit from a coffee maker as the promised 7:30 coffee delivery did not happen in a timely enough manner on either day.……

“There is a tiny little wooden bridge at the entrance of the driveway and the mailbox is on the opposite side of the road from the house. A doe was keeping watch on the mailbox when we arrived after dark. And check out the night sky!”
