"This is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Understated and tasteful elegance. Fantastic rooms with amazing balconies, world class beach, impeccable service, excellent grounds, fine dining at Manta, but also a beachfront casual bar/restaurant, and Copper Bar in between and our favorite. They have an Asian Art Collection worthy of a museum. This was out of our usual price range, a big splurge, and worth every penny. "Average condominium, tastefully decorated but old furniture. Hand towels in guest bath looked like they were 20 years old. Well equipped kitchen. Washing machine smelled of mold so bad we couldn't use it. There is no air-conditioning in the second bedroom and they provide a portable fan instead. August in Hawaii that was not acceptable. Floors had not been swept or cleaned when we arrived, there was a lot of hair on the bathroom floor."

"The property itself is just as described with all amenities and conveniences for a luxurious short term stay. Our only complaint would be the constant gardening - sometimes during early morning hours. One other small issue - we paid extra for hotel access to the Mauna Kea and Hapuna hotels but the Hapuna was under massive construction with jack hammers etc, in hearing distance from the pool and beach. Needless to say, we didn't go there again during our stay."
