「Stayed for 2 nights. Excellent room. 2 bedrooms with a kitchen. Room facilities and kitchen ware were awesome. The settings in the rooms, kitchen and bathrooms made the whole thing cosy. A garage for car parking. Very close to Big Bear Village and the lake, walking distance. Close to nearby supermarket that allowed me to make breakfast and dinner. Highly recommend!」

「As our first experience at a Bed & Breakfast, we were spoiled! Darrin and Amy were incredible hosts! The place was clean, full of things to do and really cool antiques, we could have stayed in our whole trip if we wanted to! The hosts even served us breakfast! Can't say enough about our stay. If you are planning to be in Big Bear, we highly recommend staying at the Gold Mountain Manor!」

「We loved staying at The Squirrel’s Nest for the weekend with my family, it was very cute and cozy, the kids had a blast building a snowman and exploring. Very quiet when we were there which I can’t complaint we needed that peace. Will definitely stay here again. 」

「The house had plenty of room for our group to spread out. No worries about waiting on bathrooms and lots of seating in the living room and at the dining table for playing board games. Most of all the kitchen had everything we needed for making our own meals even though it only took us 10 minutes to walk to the village for shopping. I would say the walk back up the hill was more exercise than i had planned.」

「This place was not as advertised, and should honestly be taken down as an option to stay at until things get improved or drop the price significantly. It smelled horrible and old. It was freezing. The mattress had stains on it. The hot tub that was advertised was covered in dirt, pine needles and bird poop. The decor is overwhelming and straight from the 60s and not in a charming way. The photos on this site do not represent to the real degree of what this place looked like. I took both videos...
