“Free breakfast daily with many hot and cold options. Check-in and out was simple. Hotel felt clean and safe and my children enjoyed the pool and s'mores by the fire pit. Friendly staff and great place for families. I really liked that the rooms do NOT have carpet. Hotel is off the main road and within walking distance of a grocery store which is nice also. ”

“Nice room & shower, Great check in staff & good food at Timberlake. Need to work on keeping towels stocked in pool area & staff being available in pool area. Need alot more safety cones & rugs for doorways due to ice & snow conditions. We slid down the hill going to condos. Resort needs to implement some barriers around the lake and bottom of hills to stop a vehicle from going in the lake. Also, resort needs to salt & plow alot more, even in the evenings. Lastly, for $300+ a night, the resort……

“Great place to stay. The condo kitchen was well stocked with required cooking items, pots, pans utensils, etc. Very spacious. We loved that it had a washer & dryer. We loved the fireplace and very comvenient to Sugar Mountain. ”

“The Embers is absolutely beautiful - well designed and clean, smells amazing and the rooms were better than expected and very well appointed. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and even called before we arrived to let us know our room was upgraded due to discrepancies between the booking site I used and the rooms available. This when I didn't even realize there was a problem! Parking was easy and the hotel felt accessible yet secure. The location is excellent, within walking distance……

“It's a beautiful property; it's old school motor lodge style with drive up/park and your door is right there to the outside. This is not a problem but just more FYI if you are booking. Room is cozy and not large but very comfy, a touch dated but again that's more FYI if you are needing that kind of room. 10/10 would recommend. The staff was so nice, very informative and helpful. ”

“The place was lovely and every member of the staff was processional and helpful. I arrived late and the keys were left inside the box. The security guy came out right away when I called. The only problem was the noise from the upper floor Thank you for such a pleasant stay.”

“Beautiful resort, nature setting and nice and very spacious cabin for 6. Near to Blowing Rock town and supermarket. Shopping outlets are just 5 minutes away. All nature and attractions are a Short drive from there. ”

“Just the perfect getaway. The staff was exceptional. Our dinner at the restaurant was delicious and service was above expectations. The only reason I gave the grounds a 4 was it was only 5 weeks after the hurricane and they were doing some remodeling but I lay no blame on the resort. The road to the resort was under repair but they are doing a great job of cleaning up and getting back to business. I highly recommend. ”
