“My wife and I enjoyed our weekend stay. We enjoyed the ambiance of the hotel, which was different from your run-of-the-mill modern hotel. Had wanted to see the Natural Bridge for a number of years and we added a Va Tech football game too.”

“The room was clean but be prepared to be awaken each early morning with the trash truck emptying the dumpsters outside. The outlets are not situated by the bed so bring an extension cord to charge your phone. There is no mini fridge or microwave in the room. The grab and go breakfast is just that so we went down the street for breakfast elsewhere. ”

“Originally when I arrived on site early my reservation wad apparently cancelled by accident. Within 20 minutes I was granted early check in and still got a suite which I had booked previously. Tina at the front desk was amazing. I had family staying there as well and everyone had such a good time and enjoyed their stay. ”

“Hotel was nice. Only downside is no high end free coffee-for this price…: also no gym but they do provide passes to local Y. They also have bikes outside to use. We are at Shoemakers and it was pretty good but not outstanding. Size of room was huge and staff was super friendly and helpful. Super walkable to local restaurants etc… overall a bit pricey for amenities available.”

“nice place to stay. Communication not as good before, but became better and didn't hinder the stay. Would have been nice to have garbage cans in the bathroom, more listing of what is in the kitchen (it was more bare bones than I'm used to) and enough plate/cups for the number of people that you can host. Most things only had 4. But I would stay here again. It was a very comfy and enjoyable house.”

“The owner/staff were present when needed, but otherwise left you to relax and enjoy your stay. The building is beautiful and clean, the food was great, and I haven't slept that well in years. ”
