“It is both a location and a beautiful spot. Not too costly, either. Everyone was really nice. Old bathrooms were the only thing we disliked, particularly a bathtub that appeared to be from ancient times. It was not something I wanted to walk barefoot in. Fortunately, whenever my daughter and I go somewhere, we always bring shower shoes. Also, To improve the room's appearance, the glass on the windows and balcony door should be replaced.”

“We enjoyed 2 days at this lovely, vintage, lodge. If you like history, antiques, and God's beautiful creation, LOOK no more - THIS is where you want to be. There are 2 very lovely porches to enjoy your book or simply listen to the Au Sable & birds and a few steps down to the river for fishing. Great dining opportunities are close or up to 20 minutes away. We plan to stay here again!!”

“We went here for a long weekend stay and the place was everything as described and more! The pictures don't do justice. The house is huge and lots of space and beds for everyone! We were 22 of us and EACH one of us had a comfortable bed to sleep on. And there are enough well equipped bathrooms to accommodate a lot of people. The kitchen is big for the family and well equipped with the required utensils if you plan to cook. 2 huge fridges in the kitchen and one in the pool room is a huge……

“Very clean. Rusty toilet, but who cares. Water pressure was good. We were only there for one night. It was SO reasonable and perfect for what we needed. ”

“It was great! The host was prompt in communication, and when we had some issues with the wrong key code being sent, she answered right away and got us fixed up promptly. The house is cozy and with plenty of room for several people to stay, and I was so happy to be able to bring my pup along. It's a pretty simple little house, with a fire pit out back and extra hangout space in the garage, and reliable wifi. Definitely a comfy place to have as a home base while exploring all the hiking and……

“Our family enjoyed a fun-filled week at ‘Eagle’s Nest’! The sandy beach and shallow lake edge were perfect for grandchildren (1-3 years old). Cottage has a lovely and well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and a stunning view. We recommend renting a pontoon for many enjoyable hours on the lake. Many thanks to our host Jodi!
