“Staff was very nice and inviting ”

“This was one of the prettiest places we have ever stayed. Beautiful, clean an so comfortable. The desk worker was so friendly and helpful. Woke for breakfast Sunday and the cook came out to personally take breakfast order which was delicious. Looking forward to going back and staying longer than one night. ”

“This is a lovely old Inn. We found that there was not good lighting to read in our room and just one chair. As the weather was poor It would have been nice to spend time reading. Ther is a couch downstairs that we could have used. ”

“Kevin and Scott were warm friendly hosts. They were very accommodating and served up a delicious breakfast to our liking. The inn itself is a very old and interesting place to stay. The place has an EV charger right on the premises which we were allowed to use at no charge making for stress free travel. Loved the old bar where drinks were available for purchase in the evening. Great place to meet fellow travelers. ”

“There was hair in the bathroom, the fireplace did not work. The queen bed was comfortable, the twin beds are like laying on a sheet of ply wood. The pool and jacuzzi center was cool with a sauna. I usually don't review things but I figured I'd let y'all know incase you book this stay. It was worth the money I suppose.”

“Although an historic property the Inn has been updated and we enjoyed a clean, well appointed room right down to a sound machine to ensure audial comfort and improve sleep! Freshly baked cookies and caramel apples greeted us in the foyer and a detailed and spotless coffee and tea bar was just outside the guest rooms. The custom breakfast served in the main inn was excellent. Warm scones, rich coffee, French toast with Vermont maple syrup and perfect eggs with sautéed baby spinach in front of a……

“The Lilac Inn was lovely and the Inn owner was welcoming. The 2 bed room my daughter and I shared was very nice and comfortable. The Inn was an easy walk to downtown.”
