“The property itself is nice and well maintained. The problem was that the woman who did our check-in does not seem happy with her job. She did not tell anything about the hotel and amenities, which spoiled our two night stay. At check-out, the experience was quite the oposite, but it was too late. Dangerous work (big trees being cut) was undertaken, without any notice from the hotel. Also, our room was in an annex (cosy and charming), which should be clearly mentioned, given the cold weather.……

“Butler House speaks of itself: a house with the amazing management of a great butler - the result of the dedication of the owner, Paul and his wife. Paul was so friendly and though he was always busy at the breakfast room, he always checked if we needed help Our room was spacious, clean and tidy and offered everything we need.The kitchen is big and we enjoyed cooking there. I used their washing machine and dryer and detergent and softener were available. Highly recommended for couples……

“It was quiet, charming in a rustic way, Very clean, and with lots of attention from Kris, the on-site property manager. We were right on Lake Willoughby and it was absolutely gorgeous. There's not a lot to do in the area in the fall / winter, but we wanted just to go and relax, and we did that! It was perfect for us.
