“Two things I didn't like were the fact that I arrived by train and they no longer transport you from the arrival platform to the hotel. THis could be a real problem in winter! Secondly, the dinner menu was very limited to what it was on my last visit and no real breakfast or lunch menu.”

“The east side of glacier is a great place to stay to be close to many of the best trailheads. St Mary Village did not disappoint. Worked out very well for us.”

“Close to Glacier NP. Cozy and so cute! A sweet retreat after a day of hiking. Comfy bed and quiet! I loved the little gas heater. Not a full kitchen but the microwave and fridge were great. ”

“A very good property. A little different check in process- especially if you were late i.e. past 5:00 pm. But otherwise, the room, location were great. ”

“Be prepared for no elevator and tipping a bellhop to carry your luggage up the stairs. No modern conveniences in the room and WiFi was spotty. NO TV. Two beds, a desk and two chairs. No air conditioning but a fan was provided. Only six hangers in the closet. People over six feet will have to bend over to take a shower. Windows too high for a 5' 5" person to see out of. Public spaces classy but what you would expect for a 110 year old lodge. Two nice but expensive restaurants and the ambience was……

“We really enjoyed our stay at Under Canvas. The staff and service were exceptional. We loved our large tent with ensuite bathroom. Everything for our wood burning stove was all ready to go, and we were thankful because it was very chilly and damp outside. Inside we were very comfortable, and loved the ambience the small fire afforded. The breakfast items we ordered were all delicious. A special note of thanks to Marijke. “So amazing. Cozy with all the the creature comforts even though it is a rustic cabin. Great hot water, comfy bed. Enough towels and kitchen gadgets. Host welcome in person with chocolates and fancy water bottles. Good gas grill and fun firepit out back. Perfect moonrise location on front porch. I could go on and on!! The ultimate relaxation without wifi!!”

“Property was clean, and plenty of room for our family of 6 to spread out. The proximity to the park is extremely convenient. Communication and expectations were clear. Great views of the stars, my kids enjoyed the "arcade" area downstairs, and hospitality items provided were very helpful.”
