“This is less a hotel, and more bed and breakfast. I was disappointment by not being able to drop a bag before check-in and the limited breakfast options. But the room was very comfortable, warm, and clean. The standby light from the TV was bright, but this is my only complaint with the actual room.”

“This fantastic B&B looks like a mansion, its interior is beautifully decorated and the rooms have a standard high above most B&Bs. Beds and bedsheet, bathrooms, breakfast – they are all characterized by great taste and the hostess is very sympathetic and service minded. During our travel around in England, Scotland and Wales for three weeks in September 2019 we stayed at 13 different B&Bs and hotels – Plas Y Dderwen was definitely the best B&B of them all.”

“Wonderful place to stay, excellent location, comfy bed and use of the kitchen was really helpful. The street is noisy at night so do bring earplugs but do not let this put you off staying at this fabulous property.”

“I had a great six night stay here--it was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. I had no problem with the pub/nightclub noise, but if you're sensitive or a light sleeper, you should read the listing carefully and make an informed decision. I would absolutely stay here again. ”

“Key provided didn’t work in my allocated room so I was allowed to use a different room which turned out to be a flat. Bit of an inconvenience but I probably got a better room for the same price so can’t complain. ”
