“Hosts were welcoming from the start. Room was clean and had a great night sleep. Breakfast was excellent and all freshly made. Easy to get to from Cork for a quiet place to stay.”

“Stayed here one night in preparation for the boat trip to Skellig Michael which was sadly cancelled the next day due to rough seas and high winds. However, this was a lovely little place and we had a very pleasant stay. We stayed in the room with the attached bathroom and there was a great setup outside for coffee etc. which was much appreciated. Thank you!”

“The staff was very kind and accommodating. The premises was quiet and smelled very nice. My sink did have a leak, the tile of the bathtub was falling off, and my trash cans already had trash in them. But honestly, I’d just stayed in a hostel and was thrilled to have a room to myself.”

“What an absolute joyous experience! Colleen met us upon arrival and showed us around their wonderful place! It felt a bit like the Shire, really! Comfy little abodes and unusual structures. The yurt we stayed in was lovely and large. With wood heat we stayed very warm even on frosty nights! We had a camp fire and nice kitchen facilities. But the best part was all the critters!! There is a pig and ponies and a duck. My kids particularly enjoyed the kitty, "Tiger" who spent our nights snuggled……
