"We reserved a Family Suite which advertised having a king bed for parents plus a twin bed for a kid. What they gave us seemed like an upgrade compared to what was advertised: two adjoining rooms, one with a king bed, the other with two twin beds, so that our kid got her own room with its own bathroom. It did have an ”ocean view” in the sense that it faced a side street, but you could look to one side and see the beach and ocean (and look the other way to see the hill with the Christ.) There was a small swimming pool on the roof. There wasn’t a hot tub, but the roof had excellent views day and night, and the roof level offered additional dining options. There was also a restaurant on the ground floor where we had a decent breakfast buffet every morning, which included fixings to make sandwiches for lunch as well. We also tried dinner in the restaurant once, although that area has lots of other dining options. The location is a beautiful world famous beach in a nice neighborhood, right next to the famous Copacabana Palace. Even in a great part of Rio like this, we were still concerned about crime, and took precautions about where we walked at night and kept valuables such as our wallets in the room safe instead of carrying everything around with us. "This was a wonderful hotel. Very safe and clean. The vip check in was awesome, though slightly inconvenient due to their open hours and number of staff. The room upgrade process was a little confusing but the cost was reasonable and worth the money. The location was great as well. Will definitely return. "

If you are that type of person there is so many things you can do here with your significant other whether it’s prepping for proposal or anniversary or first time travel trip. I had such a good time with my now fiance and would love to do it all over again. Divirta-se!"

"Great location from eateries, and the beach. The view was immaculent. Could see Christ the Redeemer from the rooftop pool. Concierge was very well versed in the english language. Hotel alittle outdated, but still worth the money. Would go back."
