“Highly recommended for a stay in Sheffield particularly if you dislike hotel culture. ”

“Excellent location, tidy and clean. Parking takes a bit of working out and more advice beforehand would have helped. Comfy bed and great facilities in the studio. The heater was a bit awkward having only 2 settings, off and volcano. There was no way to adjust because the controls were locked. All in all an excellent choice once you've worked out the virtual front desk. If you are booking with Expedia check all the emails for your entrance code. “The provided facilities, in terms of the fridge shack etc could do with updating and the site is a lot smaller than anticipated so we were greatful of only one other pod being occupied. Had there have been others there, there wouldn’t have been much privacy at all. Coat hooks being on the same wall as the plugs/shelf etc meant coats hanging over the kettle , but the pod itself was lovely and clean, amazingly comfortable bed. The toilets and shower blocks were very well kept and clean. Perfect……

“Very comfortable, well presented and well equipped apartment. The only small issue is the mould/mildew in the shower area which we appreciate may be down to the use of eco friendly products but it does spoil the presentation of the shower area”

“Lock on the bathroom didn’t work, wifi not great. We stayed in number 19 flat 3. Don’t feel it should be advertised as luxury/deluxe, location really good so would recommend for that. And good value for money, perfect for 1-2 nights 👍 Wife says could’ve done with another mirror for getting ready. ”

“Good apartment to stay at. Could occasionally hear the neighbours but nothing distracting. Good cooking equipment but did have to go and buy some stuff in. The cutlery was dirty when first arrived but a quick wash fixed that. Comfortable bed. ”

“We loved this little apartment! Its location is excellent to walk to all the sights and restaurants of York. There was plenty of room for our family of 5. We loved its location next to the city wall- very pretty. I could see how it would be hot in the upstairs in the summer since it was a tad warm when visiting in March. We would absolutely stay again.”

“The first room when checked in was very shabby. I complained to one of the staff. He showed me 2 other rooms to choose from, which were much better. They must have known that that room not very good The rest of the Hotel was fine ”

“Good: The hotel is well located and impressive in its public areas. All the staff are friendly and polite The breakfast is very good Not so good: The room itself was not too impressive. The room was stuffy, safe didn’t work, and the shower was a trickle. Overall location 10 out of 10 so if you are out and about exploring York all day and arriving/departing by train it would be good choice. If you want to relax in your room then I would recommend a different room category or another hotel. ”
