“The lodge was very well equipped, exceptionally clean and comfortable. The hot tub was an added bonus and main reason for booking this particular lodge, which meant we could truly relax and enjoy our stay at The Baiting House. The Baiting House staff were welcoming and polite. We didn't eat at the pub/restaurant during our stay this time but did enjoy a drink in the bar. Thank you. We will be returning. ”

“This hotel was comfortable and had lovely grounds to walk in plus a good spa set up. The room was comfortable, the staff were friendly, polite and helpful and the food was nice and tasty. Electric car charging was available but it was very slow and expensive ”

“The soundproof was not good at all. During late evening and early in the morning, the footsteps from upstairs were SO LOUD. We could not sleep well due to the noise. The squeaking sound was crazy, as the guests kept walking. Sound proof of walls on the same floor was ok, not silent, but totally acceptable. Apart from the noise, everything is fine. The location is good. Not too far from town centre. It has a big car park, so perfect for a rest in the middle of road trip. Cleaniness is also……

“ nice comfortable hotel, not aware of a so called cashless policy, when i was in possession of good old cash,and,not knowing the balance of my card. my wife and i had to dine out else where,'' your barman needs further training,came across as surly,could;nt be bothered to call last orders or better still ask customers if they required another drink before closing the bar,,, other than that ok”
