Great location for exploring York

"We had a great stay. All staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is clean and such a lovely building. Room was a squeeze to negotiate the entrance way and was a bit dark in certain places. Bathroom was compact but lovely - very nice toiletries provided. Pool area was spotless and had good facilities. ..."

Overall pleasant, couple of glitches though.

"Overall a pleasant stay, was given the wrong room initially so walked in on a couple. The rooms air-cons did not work, although opening the windows kept it cool enough. Good breakfast."
