“Fabulous spot for a long weekend away from Auckland. The sea view from the main property is amazing, and the pool / games barn a great place for the kids to be entertained. The hosts are incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We stayed in the Kohinui (family) cottage - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, well-equipped kitchen, and heat pumps/AC in every room. “Outstanding stay. I used to stay here when it first opened decades ago all the time but this is my first trip back in a long time and its still outstanding. Well appointed, homely style furniture and while its not modern it has a great quality and vibe about it. Highly reccomend.”

“This was a great budget hotel with comfortable beds. It has an unusual layout with walls at various angles. My sister and I had booked a two bedroom which was actually a one bedroom with a bed in the lounge and a seperate bedroom. It had a nice big TV with SkyTV channels. I was a bit skeptical on arrival as the hotel is on a busy road squashed between an office type building, McDonalds and a school.
