「If you are going to Nauvoo and planning to spend more than 1 night, this is the place! The accommodations are super nice, super clean and staff super friendly! Convenient to Nauvoo sites and great amenities with a washer, dryer, microwave, stove, oven dish washer. We had 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. We will definitely stay here again!」

「I came with dogs to a rural place so they could run around while my own house on VRBO was being rented instead of keeping them in the kennel. There were a lot of grassy areas and woods with a pond and paths alongside cornfields to explore. Unfortunately, it was a corner lot close to 2 streets and there were several cars a day going fast and one without a stop sign, so I was very worried and was shouting a lot. 「We stayed with our family of 30 people, including 15 grandkids. There are only 4 private bedrooms, but the endless bunk beds in the basement made such a FUN sleeping place! The property was even better than we had imagined, with a gorgeous view of the Mississippi River and acres of grass for playing football and other games. We stayed there in June and enjoyed the magic of fireflies at night, but the favorite activity was swimming in the POOL! It was a lovely place to stay.」

「The Sonora Town Hall Cottage was in the perfect location to enjoy Nauvoo and Carthage and be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the area. Greta, the host was darling and she made sure we had everything we needed. The space was clean and charming. We highly recommend it and hope we can come back!」

「Darling, peaceful home with beautiful views of the Mississippi River. Super clean, newly renovated, with well stocked kitchen. Plenty of blankets, sheets, and towels for everyone. Our family enjoyed our time together playing games at the round dining table. Even had a nice picnic by the river. Home is in such a great location. Close to historic Nauvoo and close to grocery stores and restaurants in Keokuk. We would totally love to stay here again.」

「Terrific place, very nice atmosphere and decor. Comfortable and welcoming throughout. We enjoyed seeing the deer in the morning and evening and the different birds than we have at home. 「The owner helped us by being flexible and accommodating. We got a day of reservation and there was a problem with the booking. He was quick to respond and fixed the issue right away. We were in town saying goodbye to a family member and the services got moved around several times. With a 2 and a 4 year old needing a nap and a place to hang, we were able to extend our check out for a small fee. Will stay again this summer!」
