"I was able to book for a very reasonable price right before the Spring Festival, which was a big plus. The immediate neighborhood has very little to offer, but cabs are easy to come by and a trip to the Pedestrian street costs 16-20 RMB (like $3.33 tops,) so that's not a huge deal. While the staff's overall level of English is not great, they are helpful in trying to figure out what you want. "The hotel is showing it’s age. The carpet is old and dirty. The bed is as hard as a board. Breakfast had set menu where you pick from A to D everyday. It wasn’t quite good. The breakfast room was not very appealing. I was there during the virus outbreak where I had to be evacuated to one of their sister hotel since this hotel was very close to the train station. The sister hotel was way better although I only spent 1 night. I would recommend staying near the city center."
