「Staff were efficient and friendly, first room we were in had worn dirty carpet, toilet wasn't working and wouldn't flush, we were moved with no problems straight away, second room was for someone disabled but was much cleaner, beds moved and were not very comfortable due to this, room was roasting even with windows open, however they provide a fan which helped.」

「Really happy with the welcome from the reception, The ambiance of the hotel was excellent. Parking was easy too. We got a drink at the bar but all the tables were set up with cutlery and menus. The seating was set up for dining only, I would have preferred a comfy armchair, or a ‘snug’ to rest in after a busy day. We had no choice but to go back to our room. There was a room with 4 chairs. But not at all welcoming. Detached and cold, One felt as though you were in the naughty room. Lovely nights...

「The hotel is situated in wonderful grounds. The room we had was spacious and clean. Would have preferred a larger shower than an oversized bathtub though! The staff were extraordinarily friendly and attentive. The food was incredible and some of the best we have had at any hotel. Great place to use as a base while in the area. They have set the bar extremely high, just hope they can maintain it!」
