「Moenui Retreat, easy access, beautiful views, very quiet and serene, bird song and the incoming and outgoing tide was all you could hear. Indoor and outdoor flow was great, a lovely setting on the deck. Hop skip and a jump to Blenheim and Nelson.」

「It was a very good stay. Unfortunately, I could not meet the owner in person because he was out in town, but even though he left, everything was arranged and easy. It was nice to chill out after a day of work and watch some DVD, nostalgic haha」

Lawns for cricket in the evenings; mud flats to explore at low tide; a wee beach or two to wander along; log fire for chilly autumn mornings and those long holiday evenings sitting round playing board games and cards together. 「Close to the water with amazing views, very private with plenty of activities both indoors and outdoors. Perfect weather on arrival and departure but unfortunately not good on our one full day at the bach so we didn’t get to use the dinghy or kayaks. It’s close proximity to Picton meant we could drive into town for dinner both nights.Overall we had an awesome time away and would love to return.」

Best shower in any property I have aver stayed. The views are stunning and the area very pleasant. Recommend the Pelorus Mailboat while you are in the area.」

「Older property but safe, secluded with a beautiful view of Portage Bay and mountains. Rooms have a patio, but no televisions or clocks. Shower floor was slippery. One dining room and separate lounge area with fireplace. Because of major storm damage a few years ago, we were not able to drive to property, instead we needed to take a water taxi from Picton.」
