「Gorgeous location for solitude in God's creation to unwind and reset. Lovely setting and close to a multitude of outdoor activities or shopping. The Carriage House was impeccable and quite charming. In this age of tear down and build new, it was nice to see that this beautiful barn was renovated for multi-use for 4-legged and 2-legged visitors. Definitely a little slice of heaven and it was a pleasure spending time here. Although it was full on winter, we were able to hike some local trails...

「As I was checking in, the manager was a bit gruff. I had made the reservation on-line and prepaid, but he insisted that I swipe my credit card and that the on-line payment was just a "holder". I looked on my credit card statement, and was charged on-line and again in person but it was returned. As for the room itself; The floors were all hardwood, looked nice but was very slippery coming in from the snow. The room was "dated" and the sheets on the bed had old stains. 「I stay here at least once or twice a month and it's always absolutely amazing the only problem I have are the drug addicts that come in and stink up the hallways with the marijuana moking in their rooms」

「l really enjoyed my stay, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. It is easy to get to and parking is easy. I went there on my way to Chicago and its a good location on way I will keep in mind as I go to Chicago often. I didn't get to spend a lot of time here so I can't comment on the town and area, but it looks like a neat little town. 」
