「After our 2 weeks in Nova Scotia and PEI, we needed a jump off point to make our 11 hour drive back to Boston. Carleton is a couple of miles from the bridge to the mainland, so a convenient place to overnight prior to heading home. Not may restaurants close by, tho a breakfast cafe at the hotel for the morning. good acomodation for our purposes. 」

「The host was very good with communicating, and was there to greet us. The cottage was well appointed, very modern and comfortable. Would stay there again, and would highly recommend. 」

「We stayed here for a week and used the house as our hub for touring PEI. Everything about our stay was top notch. We found the house exactly as advertised. The view was wonderful from predawn glimpses of lobster boats to gorgeous sunrises. The amenities included everything we needed. A smoke detector battery ran low and that was addressed immediately. Communication withNatalie was great! Highly recommended!!」

We felt pampered with all the thoughtful amenities and enjoyed a wonderful and relaxing weekend. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! 」

「What a beautiful property this was! The cottage was fully stocked from the kitchen to the bbq, beach to the firepit, and washroom amenities to indoor games (for rainy days) - nearly everything was provided. To have 3 generations enjoy themselves, every day on this property was so special. The private beach was visited frequently and during low tide the kids had fun following hermit crabs and collecting snails and sea shells. We struggled with the HVAC which malfunctioned on our first night...

「Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this historic, renovated farmhouse. It’s obvious that a lot of love went into making this homestead into a charming, efficient, and comfortable house. There was lots of space for our family of 9 (6 adults and kids ranging from 8 to 16). The house was amazingly quiet and it had everything we needed, including beach towels/toys and firewood for the fire ring. We liked sitting on the porch and enjoying views of the rolling farmland and the birdsong - yet it...

「We stayed for 7 days at Humble Pie Cottage and found it comfortable and quiet. Highlights included morning coffee on the deck listening to the neighbour’s rooster off in the distance ( not loud, as houses are a distance apart), and watching sunsets from the living room windows. The cottage was well equipped in the kitchen, and there was also a washer and dryer. There is a winery just up the road, and groceries are available nearby. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing vacation.」

「This is a beautiful house and property. It is immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. I highly recommend it for couples or families looking for a prime location on the beach. It had everything we needed for cooking. We would definitely return. 」
