I have to give a low rating because the customer service was terrible and frustrating. When I initially booked my stay months in advanced I asked the host, Katia, if I could get an early check in or at least drop of my luggage as I would be arriving from the US at 10:30am. I got the ok for and early check in which I was very appreciative about. A week before my stay I confirmed again about the early check in and again I was reassured that would be gone. Well, come the day of the arrival I was given the run around by Katia. Initially she didn’t respond to my messages, then said someone was arriving between 12:30 and 1:30pm to meet me to let me into the VRBO, then that person was in traffic but in the way. Then at 12:15pm ( after 45 mins of waiting) a random person said that no one could let me in until 3:30pm. I was very frustrated and exhausted at this point. I located another hotel across the street and they were kind enough to store my luggage for a fee. I then walked the Versailles Palace and did a self guided tour. I arrive back at the door for the VRBO at 3:25pm and by 3:40pm no one is there. I call Katia several times and she says Mari/Martin/Michelle (the name of the person meeting me kept changing) is usually very prompt. By 4 no one has arrived. I call again, Katia doesn’t answer my calls. By 4:10pm a man named Martin arrives and I’m finally lead to the room. By 4:15pm I was in, not 12:30pm like what was promised. So, I can’t say much about my stay. It was tarnished.
