"Alberico's house is simply enchanting and so is the hamlet of Ponzanello. You really feel like you're stepping back in time (except you have access to all the modern amenities which is great)! "The house was very clean, comfortable and spacious and we never tired of the superlative views across the valley. Diego and his dad are lovely and always available when needed. If I was to suggest an improvement, it would be a little more kitchen equipment - there was no sharp knife for cooking, no collander, few wine glasses and an oven tray that didn’t fit the oven. A small point that did not detract from a great week in a stand out property. Highly recommended!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Collemandina. The property was in excellent condition and Leonardo was very helpful with the check in process and also when we didn't have any hot water. The location is very picturesque and quiet. The only downside is that it is a little isolated. There is a restaurant near the property but it is probably a 20 minute walk up steep roads. We were very reliant on using the car to get everywhere when ideally there would be some amenities a little bit closer."
