At first glance I really expected this hotel to deserve a 4/5 rating from me - but unfortunately customer service almost ruined it all. Plus the powerless twinkling lighting in the room with some old model low wattage LEDs. All that gives a very uncomfortable feeling in the room, which is otherwise nice, clean and well maintained. WiFi was slow and unreliable, but hey, it this was the problem, I'd only wave and not even think about it. But I cannot stop thinking that 2 days they were giving me some numbers to call a tour agency about the advertised Red Lotus Lake tour, nobody answered (or the numbers weren't even valid), on the third morning an older lady called herself, booked me the tour for the last morning, they confirmed, she confirmed to me - and everything seemed nice. Until the evening, when I decided to check if everything is OK, the receptionist on duty called the agency and they told her my tour is cancelled unless I agree to pay for 2, because that's the minimum and they couldn't find a second person wanting to take that tour to the most popular and beautiful sight in the region. Which left me without that most important tour. Thank you, Delio. :-( I know tours are not your main responsibility, but since you offer them, and especially if you confirm that all is set... please make sure you can keep your promises.
