My family and I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn in Troy, AL. Our stay was from Thursday, July 18-Sunday, July 21. Our confirmation was for a suite room.
We checked in Thursday the 18th for our suite in room 102. After unpacking in our room to get settled for the evening, we noticed the floor was flooded in the doorway to the bedroom and upon opening the closet it was puddled. The front desk claimed it was from cleaning the carpet. The front desk quickly apologized and moved us to another room in 105. This room was a downgrade as they didn’t have any other suites available. We noticed in the middle of the night that the toilet would not flush. The next morning, we were placed in our third room, 107, for this trip. This is not easy being moved so many times due to my wife being in her third trimester pregnant and traveling with a toddler.
We have tried multiple times to get answers from multiple employees at Hilton about points compensation and zero progress has been made. This is the worst hotel experience our family has had.
Hilton has become our number one choice for hotel stays, but the way this trip has gone has been terrible.
