「Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Gute Ausgangslage für Wanderungen im NP. Es war alles da, was man braucht. Allerdings war vorab beim Buchen keine Info zu finden, dass Bettlaken und Handtücher mitzubringen sind oder benutzte vor Abreise zu waschen und zu trocknen sind.」

「What a great destination - we loved the privacy and enjoyed sitting in the hot tub at night watching the stars. Great view of Lake Taupo, the city lights are on the other side of the lake, so we could easily see the Milky Way and other stars in the night sky.The property had a large kitchen, living room and bedroom. 「The owners have done a lovely job furnishing the property. It's near the Westside of Lake Taupo. Great fishing and very nice beach, but there a couple of issues. The property lacks internet! It's the 21st century, not having internet is like not having indoor plumbing or electricity. Without the internet, there's no smart TV. 「The house was great, we stayed so my husband and brother in law could do the Tongariro Crossing. We all stayed including the kids and there was plenty of room and had everything we needed. 「Really nice spot in nature, clean and tidy house. David was super helpful and quick to respond to any questions.One thing would be another rental nearby so not completely secluded but we barely saw them so not a real issue at all!」

"A wonderful stay at Mountain Heights Lodge, highly recommended. The hosts, Karl and Maria, are very friendly and helpful, gave us useful information on food opitons & trails when checking in Room (motel unit) was clean with full equipped kitchenette. The private Spa pool is a plus, relax after a full-day hiking. "
