    ‘Il Belpoggio Su Todi' (roughly translatable in "The beautiful hillock over Todi” - a name meant to underline the aerial view that can be enjoyed over Todi and the surrounding countryside) is a tiny hamlet surrounded by a terraced garden, an olive grove, a forest and a breathtaking view.

    It has been recently fully renovated, safeguarding the typical Umbrian architecture, with the use of local materials - the terracotta floors, exposed stone for the external walls, the antique tiles on the roofs.

    Every detail allows you to enjoy the warm experience of an Italian country house with all the amenities, including a spectacular infinity pool in which you can cool off during the summertime.

    1) GREATER VILLA (GV)

    Il Casale Grande (Greater Villa) is 340 square meters villa, on two floors, and it sleeps 9 people.
    There is a beautiful 120 square meter living and dining room where you can relax, eat all together, or read before the monumental fireplace.

    You will enjoy a typical Umbrian stone kitchen, 30 square meters large, fully equipped, with its own fireplace.

    The sleeping rooms are all on the first floor and are divided as follows:
    - 3 full double bedrooms all with private bathrooms,
    - 1 double bedroom with bathroom (+ 1 adjoining single single bedroom).

    There is also a small lounge between the sleeping rooms.

    2) SMALLER VILLA (SV)

    Very similar characteristics as the Casale Grande’s ones, only smaller.
    The bedrooms are all on the second floor and are divided as follows:
    - 3 double bedrooms,
    - 1 single bedroom
    - 2 bathrooms (+ 1 at ground floor)

    On the ground floor, in addition to the bathroom, you can find the living room with its fireplace, the dining room and the kitchen with its fireplace as well.

    3) WEST WING (WW)

    It is adjoining to the Greater Villa and it is located on the first and second floors.

    It includes:
    - 4 double bedrooms,
    - 2 bathrooms,
    - a kitchen with a panoramic balcony,
    a dining/living room with its fireplace.

Frederico met us for check in and made things easy for checking in a large party. The home is beautiful. Remote enough to have privacy but close enough to Todi for restaurant and shop access. The host provided local recommendations for grocery and pizza. The house is well stocked for dining at home. The pool is clean and cold which is perfect after a warm day exploring. I would recommend this property to anyone with a large group looking for a get away to Umbria.

The property was amazingly beautiful, peaceful, and secluded. Federico is an excellent host, and communication was great as well. The property itself is very large. There is a large main house and a second smaller house, which is actually quite large. So, there is lots of room to spread out and have some privacy from other guests. As you can see from the photos, both houses are incredible.My daughter was married there, with a view of Todi on the hill in the background. Federico even threw in a rainbow during the ceremony free of charge. It's a magical place, and I already miss it. 5 stars in every regard.

Gorgeous Home, Unforgettable Views

Our large group of family and friends loved our stay. Even with spotty weather (Spring rains) we were either cozy or basking in the sun by the pool. Plenty of space, comfortable beds, thoughtful host….we loved this spot. Todi was wonderful too - very few tourists and lots of places to eat. This is our 4th villa stay and this is now one of our very favorites!

We stayed at this property from May 21–25 for our wedding, and it exceeded every expectation. The villa and grounds were absolutely beautiful and provided the perfect setting for one of the most important weekends of our lives.Our host, Federico, was incredibly responsive, helpful, and accommodating. Planning a destination wedding from another country can be stressful, but Federico went above and beyond to answer questions, provide recommendations, coordinate details, and ensure everything ran smoothly.The property itself was stunning, well-maintained, and exactly as advertised. Our guests were equally impressed by the beauty of the venue. It created the perfect atmosphere for our wedding and our time spent with our family and friends.Our wedding weekend was everything we hoped it would be and more. We stayed here for our symbolic wedding ceremony, and it truly could not have been more perfect. The property was absolutely beautiful, and the pictures listed truly don’t do it justice.Federico was an amazing host—responsive, kind, and incredibly helpful every step of the way. He answered all of my questions promptly and made the entire process stress-free.We had a big group of family and friends, and everyone was comfortable and happy. Accommodations were thoughtfully made whenever needed, and the property worked beautifully for a large group gathering. All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed their stay.I highly recommend reading the house manual upon arrival—it answered many of our questions and made the stay even smoother.Overall, it was the best week ever, filled with unforgettable memories. Perfect location for a friends & family 50th birthday celebration week. Stunning views, comfortable bedrooms and plenty of communal areas for dining and relaxation. Federico is a fantastic host and we took advantage of his recommendations for private chefs and local dining/grocery shopping options. Todi is a stunning hilltop town with great dining options. The EMI supermarket, about 12 minutes drive is ideal for all your grocery and beverage needs.The pool was large and immaculate and we took full advantage.We are already planning a return visit.

Gorgeous villa and amazing host

Belpoggio was a gorgeous villa with a stunning view. It was clean, easy to get to town, the store and for vendors to find. The host, Federico, was super friendly, helpful, responsive and accommodating. The beds were comfortable, the pool was clean and a beautiful blue, and I can’t wait to stay again! Highly recommend!

I booked Il belpoggio su Todi for 5 nights from October 3rd to the 8th, 2024.

Until you arrive and explore the warmth of Il belpoggio su Todi, pictures don't do it justice. Owner and host Federico was a great communicator. He was helpful and able to give to give us guidance leading up to our arrival and throughout our stay.

Lovely stay with family

Nice stay and a lot of privacy with 24 people. Really Italian style, beds are good and dark rooms to sleep, liked that. Federico is a real gentlemen, and always react fast when we had some questions. Definitely a good place to stay with a couple of friends or family. 5 stars without a doubt.

Spectacular

22 friends and family spent a magical 10 days in this beautiful location. Well equipped and very comfortable. The pool was a godsend. Would be fantastic if more ac available in lounge areas and larger fridge/ freezer in the grand Vila but other than these points I would not hesitate to recommend a stay here

Summer vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. From the very beginning of booking, Federico was very helpful with information and guidance. When we arrived, Federico was helpful in every way and the same upon departure. The House and surroundings were fantastic. We really enjoyed the pool. The surrounding villages were all worth a visit and the drive not too long for us.

Unsere Hochzeitsreise mit Familie und Freunden, hätte nicht besser sein können. Die gesamte Anlage einfach wunderbar. Wir konnten gemeinsam Kochen und Essen, jeder hatte seinen eigenen Bereich mit Badezimmer. Der Pool, die Liegen, Spielsachen waren super für die Unterhaltung am Tag. Bel Poggio Su Todi was Wonderful

My family and I stayed at the property for one month. Our children came and went, staying at different times with us. The property had plenty of room for 20 people. It was a beautiful property and the scenery was fantastic. The children enjoyed the pool and the adults enjoyed watching them. It was a great base for visiting towns in the area. Federico arranged for the preparation of a meal by Laura Zaffarami and her crew, and they did a wonderful job. We would recommend the villa to anyone.

We spent a magical week with our family of 16 at Il Belpoggio Su Todi, enjoying the spacious homes and large rooms with their wonderful views.The shared spaces are comfortable and roomy.The kitchen is well-equipped, allowing us to prepare excellent meals for the family.We loved sitting outside, soaking in the scenery, and refreshing ourselves in the beautiful pool.Although we had planned many excursions, it was so pleasant at the house that we spent most of our time there.The trip to the city for shopping was easy, with a wide selection available.Federico was attentive and kind, meeting us upon arrival and helping with any questions, including making restaurant reservations.We highly recommend this place.

Family Vacation

We were a family of 21, grandparents, parents and kids. We had a dream vacation. The property was beyond our expectations, beautifully furnished and so well equipped. Frederico, our host was amazing. Die Unterkunft ist ein Wahrgewordener Traum. Wir haben dort unsere kleine, feine Hochzeit feiern dürfen und können nur positive Worte für die Location und ihren Host Federico finden. Federico war während unseres Aufenthaltes komplett vor Ort, er war aber nie aufdringlich und auch selten präsent. Er hat stets sofort auf unsere Rückfragen geantwortet und uns bei kleineren Problemchen geholfen. Die Zimmer haben äußerst bequeme Betten, die Räume sind im klassischen Stil gehalten und alle sehr gemütlich. Der außen Außenbereich ist großartig, der Pool fantastisch für die Größe der Unterkunft und der Blick auf Todi ist einmalig und wirklich wunderschön. Wir hatten das für uns wirklich absolut perfekte Hochzeitswochenende. Danke an Federico und seine Familie, dass sie diese Location vermieten. Federico ist so herzlich und stand auch im Vorhinein für alle Rückfragen schnell zur Verfügung, auch seine empfohlenen Dienstleister (vor allem Valentins und das Catering!) leisten ganz hochwertige Arbeit. Der Abschied ist uns so schwer gefallen, wir sind mit den schönsten Erinnerungen an eine perfekte Hochzeit abgereist und hoffen, dass wir diesen einmaligen Ort irgendwann (am liebsten zeitnah) nochmal bereisen dürfen. Federico, alles Liebe und Gute dir und deiner Familie, ihr leistet großartiges!

Wedding in Todi

I knew this place was special as soon as I saw the listing. I stayed here with my family and friends for my wedding, which was also hosted at the property. The pictures truly don’t do this place justice, the view and serenity of the place are unmatched. Federico was excellent to communicate with and I had MANY questions throughout the process. The property was spotless. Todi the nearby town was absolutely charming. Our stay at Il Belpoggio feels like the most beautiful dream I wish I could relive. Thank you Federico!

Trip of a lifetime

We planned a stay there for a wedding with 24 people. The location was amazing and the owner Federico was helpful in everything. You will not be disappointed this property is much better in person than the pictures allow. There are only 3 bedroom AC u it’s bit the elevation keeps the house cold and has an amazing breeze. The pool are is exceptional and each room is nicely appointed.. it wa s the perfect place to entertain and have a wedding. Even the most discriminating vacationer will be pleased. We will definitely return. Thanks Federico for a great stay.

What an absolutely idyllic place to spend a week! We were 5 families; 10 adults and 11 kids between the ages of 2-10. We had TONS of space; we congregated for dinner at the main kitchen, but the multiple villas and kitchens allowed for extra food storage and calmer breakfasts/lunches. The pool was lovely - unheated, but kids didn't care! The views were spectacular. It was so quiet and peaceful. Federico (host) was incredibly responsive and helpful. He spent a couple of nights on the property, but he was respectful of our space and only came around if we called him to come help with anything. And the nearby town of Todi was utterly charming and convenient.

Il Belpoggio -- beyond expectations!

We had 13 people in our party, ranging from age 3 to 60, and Il Belpoggio was the perfect spot. The drive from the Rome airport is beautiful! The property is truly stunning. It looks beautiful in the pictures but the pictures just don't capture the amazing beauty of the area. We spent a week here and cooked in the kitchen most nights. It was a very well-equipped kitchen with everything we needed. The living area is massive yet cozy. Federico was attentive before, during and after our visit, providing us with restaurants, chefs, information about the area, and following up on things left behind. We give this place a solid 5 stars!

Wonderful Property and Host

This property is fantastic! Well situated in a quiet country setting, but convenient to shops and restaurants, you will not be disappointed. The houses were overall very clean and in great condition, though there were a few cobwebs lingering here and there. As the first renters of the season this was not alarming. Federico is an excellent host, and his communication is excellent. Paying additionally for gas and electric was however a surprise, but relative to the cost of rental it was insignificant. Highly recommend!
